Prairie Smoke and Spice kick off the BBQ season as Grand Champion in Chilliwack

“We could not be happier with the people of Chilliwack and the surrounding communities who made it out to taste with us today,” says organizer Angie Quaale. “We appreciate all of the visiting teams and the sponsors, who really made today special,” she continues. “Now that we can see how much Chilliwack loves low and slow BBQ, we are certain this will become an annual event event at the Farm Store.”

The inaugural Barn Burner BBQ Competition, presented in Chilliwack by Johnston’s Pork and Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry was a huge success. 21 teams competed for the Grand Championship which was captured by Saskatchewan team Prairie Smoke and Spice. Learn more at
